The Cowgirl Necklace (the colors reminded me of cowgirl colors) measures 18.5" from end to end. It's made with 1" Creme/White Bone beads, Brown Wood beads and Turquoise & Creme Glass beads and features a real Turquoise centerpiece measuring 1" wide x 3/4" tall.

Notes from Michelle:

I made my first piece of jewelry for my brother back in the early 1990's. Since then, I have been obsessed with collecting beads wherever I go. If I am in some strange town and run across a bead store or some unique shop, I usually get lost for hours imagining all of the cool pieces I can make with what I find. I've collected beads and other pieces from Pow wows, Native American shops and bead stores around the country. I have also been gifted many cool pieces from friends who know of my obsession.

Everything I make is created with the intentions of healing, earth, power and love. I am especially influenced and inspired by Native American art, symbols and beliefs, and my pieces are intended to reflect that energy.

Each piece is one-of-a-kind. In a world where so much is mass-produced, I feel it is important to maintain a sense of individuality, so I never make the same thing twice. I feel everyone should have something unique that speaks to them.
